Naan Bread & Naan Chip
Some refugees make naan bread, and we sell it to our friends.
All the profit from selling naan bread goes toward the refugee ministry.
FBB Comic
In the beginning of March 2019, we began marketing a comic book (FBB Comics) written by the youngest member of the Paul family, Nathaniel. We sell it for $10 (IDR 150,000) a copy, part of which goes toward covering the cost and personal profit and the remainder toward helping the refugees in Indonesia. Any additional donation over the $10 will be used for refugee ministry needs.
Bridges By Art
"Last semester, a student from JIS approached me wanting to do Art workshops for younger kids (6-9 yrs old) in the hope of raising fund for NHLC. She worked with 10 students and provided all that the workshops needed. She did this once a month for 4 months and 2 days ago she informed me that she is done with the project. Take a look and spread the word about her effort to help NHLC." - Bee Paul
Here is what she wrote about her project...
"Hi everyone! My name is Bianca Winoto. For the past few months, I have been working on a project called Bridges By Art. In Bridges by Art, we aim to spread our love of art throughout the refugee community. We believe art has the power to expand a person's ability to interact with the world around them and provide a new set of skills for self-expression and communication.
Our mission is to conduct art workshops throughout the refugee learning centers in Jakarta, transform the students' creative pieces into merchandise, and donate the proceeds from sales back to the learning centers so they can provide the resources needed for their students.
