As part of our efforts to create sustainable solutions for our refugee friends during their stay in Indonesia, we try to identify arts, crafts, foods, and other goods unique to refugees that can be marketed through local bazaars and by word of mouth. Some products we have marketed in the past include paintings, items such as necklaces and keychains, and eatables like kabuli rice, falafels, and biriyani.

Vases and necklaces made by the resettled Afghani

Crafts made by a teenage Sri Lankan boy
It is our hope that these talented refugees will continue to refine their skills while they wait in Indonesia and be able to use them in the countries they move on to. God has blessed them with truly amazing gifts.
